2 Corinthians 5:17
‘’Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.’’
Saints of God we need to understand this scripture clearly as so many of us seem to have misunderstood the meaning, much to their detriment. We are spiritually born again and the outward demonstration of what has happened on the inside is done when one is baptised in water. The submersion into the water is the death and burial of the old nature and the raising up after submersion speaks of the resurrection of the new.
This is all spiritual which means something still has to change in the natural. Yes, spiritually speaking we are seated with Christ in heavenly places where we rule and reign with Jesus, but experientially we still need to get there. This is why the word of God in Philippians 2:12 instructs us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. God has given the 5-fold ministry offices to assist in this working out process, until we all come to the unity of faith, and the knowledge of Jesus, unto the stature of fullness of Christ (Eph 4:11-13).
