Ps 58:3-4
“The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.”
The meaning of the word astray is taken from the Greek word Tah-ah which means to deceive, seduce, stagger, cause to err, or to wander. This confirms that we are all born with a sinful nature as a result of sin which entered through the disobedience of Adam. Just think of an everyday example of a baby. No-one teaches the child how to be naughty or do tantrums, it comes naturally because of the sinful nature.
The good news is that Jesus paid the price for sin with His blood which completely removes sin. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
